Meet The Cast
John Lamb – [Rumpelstiltskin]
John has been heavily involved in the B Street Theatre School Tours (formerly Fantasy Theatre), writing, directing and or acting in over 30 productions in the last ten years. Former roles on the B Street Theatre stage include Brother Brightbee/Yvonne/Donny/Rudy in The Book of Liz, Brent in While We Were Bowling and Johnny in Juno and the Paycock. He can also be recognized from his acting in B Street Theatre Family Series productions Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse, The Canterville Ghost, The Boxcar Children, The Princess and The Pauper, Johnny Tremain, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. John has also directed some of B Street Theatre's biggest hits including Women Who Steal, The Tales of the Allergist's Wife and The Big Bang.
Jamie Jones – [Farmer’s Wife]
Jamie most recently appeared as Mother in A Christmas Story, and Sister Butterworth in The Book of Liz at the B Street Theatre and Dinner With Friends at Capital Stage. Other favorite B Street Theatre productions include The Clean House, Throwing Parties, Boston Marriage and Three Days of Rain. In the Bay area she appeared in Encore Theatre’s production of The Typographer’s Dream, by Adam Bock and the world premiere of Rogelio Martinez’s Displaced at Marin Theatre Company. Regional: American Conservatory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, B Street Theatre, The Cable Car Theatre, Capital Stage, Children’s Theatre of California, Marin Theatre Company, Sacramento Theatre Company and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. She played Vivian in the West Coast premiere of Free Will and Wanton Lust, directed by Nicky Silver. New York: The Connelly Theatre, Theatre at St. Clements and the Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab at HERE space. Television: Law & Order and the mini-series Gone But Not Forgotten. Film: The Right Gift. Jamie is Co-Director of the B Street Theatre Conservatory with her husband Michael Stevenson and a member of the B Street Theatre Acting Company. She received an M.F.A. from The American Conservatory Theatre.
Nisa Davis Hayden – [Brulee]
Nisa has performed a variety of roles on stages in New York, Los Angeles and Northern California. Recent work includes Videllia Sparks in The Sugar Bean Sisters at The Studio Theatre and Carolynn in Searchlight Theatre Project’s world premiere of Lost and Found. Previous Family Series productions include A Christmas Story, The Secret Garden and The Canterville Ghost. Other Sacramento credits include Deathtrap at Capital Stage, Sea Marks with husband Don, as well as The Elephant Man, Emma’s Child, The Wake of Jamey Foster, Transatlantic, Rumors, Dog Logic and Love Letters. In addition to her work on stage, Nisa has appeared in film, television, documentaries and recorded numerous voiceovers here and in Japan.
Rick Kleber – [Miller/Farmer]
After playing Meanie Jim/Grampa Miller in Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business, the King in The Princess and the Pauper, Frog in A Year With Frog and Toad, Mr. Munroe in Bunnicula, Cuss in The Boxcar Children and the father in both of the Alexander productions, Rick is happy to be once again on the Family Series Stage. A veteran of the B Street Theatre School Tours (formerly Fantasy Theatre), he appeared in the first Fantasy Festival. On the B Street stage he was featured in Holiday Tales, Gunmetal Blues and The Death of Zukasky. In 1995, the Sacramento News and Review voted him “Best Actor”. Other productions include A Christmas Carol (Sacramento Theatre Company). Guys and Dolls (Alabama Summer Fest), Little Shop of Horrors (Syracuse Stage), Cabaret (Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma), Corpse (Foothill Theatre) and Fiddler on the Roof at the Golden Theatre in Burbank for which he received a Los Angeles Drama-Logue award. One of his favorite roles was playing Fred Flinstone in The Flinstones Show at Universal Studios, Hollywood. Movie and television appearances include Ghost, Hook, Lunch, My Favorite Martian, Waxwork II, The Adventures of SuperDave , Her Minor Thing and he is recurring skit player on The Tonight Show. He was a regular on Howard Stern’s Son of the Beach, has been featured on The Amanda Show, All That, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Girls Club, and The West Wing. Rick is a proud member of the B Street Theatre Acting Company.
Peter Story – [Eclaire]
Peter Story is a member of the B Street Theatre Acting Company and has appeared on both the mainstage and family series stages. You might recognize him from notable performances in The Underpants, Fuddy Meers, Bright Ideas, What the Butler Saw, A Year with Frog and Toad, or Alexander Who's Not...Going to Move. Peter resides in Los Angeles where he pursues a television and film career and is an audition coach for several agencies and talent management companies in the LA area. Some of his television credits include CSI, Without a Trace, Ugly Betty, Studio 60, E-Ring, and the new internet-turned-TV series, Quarterlife. Peter just wrapped the short film, Le Chat Est Mort, starring opposite Elizabeth Perkins and this summer will see the release of his feature film Cornered, where he starred opposite Steve Guttenberg. Vickie Hall – [Roanne]
Vickie is thrilled to be back on the B Street Family Series stage. Vickie was a 2006 – 2007 Acting Intern Company member and during that time appeared in last season's productions of Princess and the Pauper and Johnny Tremain. Also during her internship, she performed in two B Street Theatre School Tours productions, That's History and Fantasy Festival XXII, as well as two intern showcase productions – Remotely Controlled and Where's My Money. Since the close of her internship, Vickie has been working on various film projects in the Sacramento area and has returned to the B Street Theatre to play the role of Sophia/Monica in John P. Lamb's 9/10ths of the Law and appeared in the recent B Street School Tours production of Gold Country Tales. Vickie has recently been accepted into the Professional Training Program at Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, CA and will be starting there in October of this year. She would like to thank her B Street family for all their support and guidance.
Megan O’Neil – [Ensemble]
Megan is thrilled to be making her B Street Theatre Family Series debut with this fantastic cast! She is a proud member of the 2007-2008 Acting Intern Company and was last seen touring with B Street School Tours production of It's All Greek To Me. She hails from Spring Lake, MI and recently graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre from North Central College in Naperville, IL. Favorite credits include Olivia inTwelfth Night, Bonnie in Anything Goes!, Amalia in She Loves Me, and Lily in Secret Garden. Much love to my family and friends for all of their support!
Lauren Rosi – [Ensemble]
Lauren is pleased to be making her official Family Series debut! She previously performed as an understudy in Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business and in the ensemble of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She also toured with the B Street Theatre School Tours production of Gold Country Tales. A native of the Bay Area, her regional credits include the world premiere productions of Dust and Illyria at ACT’s Young Conservatory and two summers with Woodminster Summer Musicals. She is a graduate of Idyllwild Arts Academy and Emerson College and is a member of the 2007-2008 Acting Intern Company.
Joe Styron [Ensemble]
Joe was recently on the B Street Theatre Family Series stage as Joe Harper in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and understudy in A Christmas Story. Joe also appeared in the School Tours production of Gold Country Tales. He is a recent graduate with a degree in music from the University of Southern Mississippi. Some favorite roles include: Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Joe is a member of the 2007-2008 Acting Intern Company.
