Jack Goes Boating
The B Street Theatre is pleased to present the West Coast premier of JACK GOES BOATING, a comedy about four flawed but likeable lower-middle-class New Yorkers learning how to stay afloat in the deep water of day-to-day living. Laced with cooking classes, swimming lessons and a smorgasbord of illegal drugs, JACK GOES BOATING is a story of date panic, marital meltdown, betrayal, and the prevailing grace of the human spirit.
Bob Glaudini’s JACK GOES BOATING premiered in New York City at the Public Theatre and was produced by the LAByrinth Theatre Company in 2007. The original cast of four included Academy Award winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing the role of Jack. B Street’s production will be directed Buck Busfield.
