The God of Hell

 
The God of Hell follows a quiet Wisconsin couple who live a simple life raising cows. Their lives take a turn with the arrival of an old friend followed by a mysterious government agent.  The God of Hell is the seventh and final production of the B Street Theatre's 2005-2006 season.

Sam Shepard is one of America's most respected playwrights and has received 11 Obie Awards and two Tony nominations for his work.  He has written over 45 plays, including True West, Curse of the Starving Class, A Lie of the Mind, and Buried Child, which received a Pulitzer Prize in 1979.  Mr. Shepard is also an accomplished film actor and has appeared in The Right Stuff, The Pelican Brief, All the Pretty Horses, The Notebook, and Stealth.
