The Last Five Years is a musical journey through the five-year relationship between Jamie, an aspiring novelist who is Jewish, and Cathy, an actress who is Catholic.  Starting with their first date, the musical portrays both characters' perspectives, opening an intimate window into the emotional highs and lows of romantic love.  The Last FiveYears won Drama Desk Awards for best music and best lyrics in 2002.

THE CAST:
Eric Anderson
(Jamie) has worked consistently as a multiple award-winning stage actor exclusively in Southern California since he was a boy. The Last Five Years marks his debut abroad. With a reputation for his chameleonic diversity, his range of portrayals has spanned to include: Tateh in Ragtime, Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, The Emcee in Cabaret, Kolya in Bed and Sofa, Richard M. Nixon in Judy's Scary Little Christmas, Ophelia in Hamlet, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince of Denmark and Burrs in both versions of The Wild Party. He is a member of the Troubadour Theatre Company and The Musical Theatre Guild and was recently featured on "Alias" and in the ten minute movie musical, "Desperate Horsewife." This year, Eric was honored by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle with the first ever Joel Hirschhorn Award (for outstanding achievement in musical theatre) and a Backstage West Garland Award as best actor in a musical. Jessica Rush (Catherine) is honored to be a part of this wonderful show! National Tours include: Mamma Mia (Sophie), Cinderella with Eartha Kitt (Cinderella). Los Angeles credits include: Paint Your Wagon (Jennifer) at the Geffen Playhouse, the world premiere of Pilgrim (Anna) at the Ricardo Montalban, The Little Mermaid at the Falcon Theatre and, most recently, the workshops of two new projects with Alan Menken and Jason Robert Brown. Favorite regional credits include Meet Me in St. Louis (Esther), Pygmalion (Eliza), Will Rogers Follies (Z's Favorite) and Beauty And The Beast (Belle), as well as numerous roles for the Disney company. Television credits include appearances on "General Hospital," "Passions," "All That" and "The Rosie O¹Donnell Show."
