When does the season start?
Our season begins in June, and typically runs for 12 months, ending again in June
What shows will be in the 2008-2009 season?
Because we strive to bring the newest plays to the B Street Theatre, we rarely have the entire season selected in advance. This gives us the flexibility to program some of the hottest new works from around the country as soon as rights become available. Usually we present in a seven-show season: five or six comedies, one drama, and one "other" (a one person show, a musical, etc.).
Will my tickets be mailed to me?
No. All subscriber tickets are held at the Box Office for pick up 30 minutes before curtain time.
How will I know when to attend each production?
You will receive a Promotional Show Postcard 2 – 3 weeks prior to the opening of each show informing you of your scheduled performance date. You will also receive email notification if we have your current address. Please check with the Box Office to be sure we are up-to-date!
Will I have the same seats for every show?
Yes, unless you reschedule, in which case you will be given the best seats available on the date you wish to attend.
What if I cannot attend on my assigned date?
If you are unable to attend on your scheduled date and need to reschedule, please call the Box Office at 916.443.5300 and we will be happy to assist you. There is no fee to our subscribers for rescheduling; however, if you call on the actual day of your scheduled performance there will be a $5 late fee charged for rescheduling.
May I reschedule to a different night?
Yes, however, if your tickets are for a weekday or Sunday matinee, there will be a $5 upgrade fee per ticket to reschedule to a weekend performance.
How many times may I reschedule?
You may reschedule at no charge one time per show. Additional changes will incur fee.
What if I forget to attend on my assigned date?
If you miss a show, you may purchase tickets for another performance at a special subscriber discount rate.
What if I want to see a show more than once?
You may purchase tickets at the subscriber discount rate. PLEASE NOTE: this is a subscriber only rate. Tickets purchased by subscribers for non-subscribers will be charged at the regular single ticket price.
When I purchase additional single tickets for friends and family, can they be seated with our subscription party?
The Box Office staff will do their best to accommodate your request. If you wish to be seated together it is likely you may have to be moved from your original seats.
What if I am unable to reschedule and cannot attend a play?
Should you find that you are unable to attend any performance of a scheduled production, we encourage you to share the tickets with friends or family. You may also choose to donate your tickets back to the theatre. B Street Theatre will not refund or exchange tickets for an alternate show.
What if I arrive late for the show?
There is absolutely no late seating at B Street Theatre. This is due to the intimate nature of our theatre as well as the frequent use of the aisles by the performers. Please arrive early in order to have time to pick up your tickets and find your seats. If you are late you are welcome to watch the first act on the monitor in the lobby, then take your seats at intermission. Please NOTE: There will be a $5 fee charged should you decide to reschedule to attend a later performance.
How do I find out about special engagements at the B Street Theatre?
As a subscriber you will receive advance notice of all special engagements. Special engagements may include solo performances, musical concerts, and/or showcase presentations.
