Technique Class Fall 2004
What's the tuition?Tuition for all classes is $260, with a $80 deposit required to reserve your space in class.
What's the refund policy?
The $80 deposit is refundable until the first day of class. After class starts, there are no refunds.
What's the age range of students?
We've had students from 18 to 70+.
Why is Core Acting a prerequisite?
We teach our core acting technique in this class, and all the other classes build on that foundation.
Why is there an interview prerequisite for Core Acting?
We want to be sure the class is a match for what you're looking for, and that we get a sense of your level of experience.

Do I need a lot of acting experience to take the classes?
No. Core Acting is geared for all experience levels.
What's the time commitment?
Classes meet for 2 hour sessions, 8 times a quarter. There's also additional reading and work outside of class in all the classes -- meeting with a partner to rehearse, monologue rehearsal, and other class assignments. You can expect to 2 or 3 hours a week outside of class on rehearsal when you're working on a scene with a partner.
Who teaches the classes?
All classes are taught by one or both of the Conservatory Co-Directors, Jamie Jones and Michael Stevenson.
Where do the classes meet?
All classes meet at the B Street Theatre. Classes are taught either on the mainstage (B1) or the Family Series stage (B2.)
