Kids & Teens - Now Enrolling!

The B Street Theatre would like to announce its SUMMER ACTING PROGRAM 2008. Once again the B Street Theatre will offer a series of acting workshops for kids of all ages and skill levels. Students will learn in a fun, exciting, and creative environment from professional instructors who are active in the fields of theatre, improvisation, and acting instruction. Each camp will last up to two weeks and be lead by B Street regular Kurt Johnson. Young performers learn about the fundamental tools needed to work on and develop their physical, vocal, and emotional range. This being said we never lose sight of the fact that the work of acting is best taught through fun and play. Concepts are
presented through a series acting exercises, theatre games, improvisation, rehearsal process, and performance.  Every camp concludes with a final showcase production where the young actors can show off everything they have learned! Come and join the fun!!!

SUMMER 2008 SCHEDULE:

Junior Acting Camp (6-8)
Session 1
WHEN: 7th – July 14th  (Monday - Friday) 9:00am - 1:00pm
Note: on July 14thst we will meet at 4:00pm for final dress rehearsal and FINAL SHOWCASE at 7:00pm.
WHERE: All camps take place at The B Street Theatre located at 2711 B Street Sacramento, CA 95816
WHO: Ages 6-8.
TUITION: $250.00 (Due at time of registration)

Session 2
WHEN: July 28th – August 4th
(Monday - Friday) 9:00am - 1:00pm
Note: on August 4th  we will meet at 4:00pm for final dress rehearsal and FINAL SHOWCASE at 7:00pm.
WHERE:  All camps take place at The B Street Theatrelocated at 2711 B Street Sacramento, CA 95816
WHO: Ages 6-8.
TUITION: $250.00 (Due at time of registration)

WHO: Ages 9-13.
TUITION: $400.00 (Due at time of registration)

Session 2
WHEN: July 14th – July 28th  (Monday - Friday) 9:00am - 1:00pm (until August 7th)
Note: on July 28th  we will meet at 4:00pm for final dress rehearsal and  FINAL SHOWCASE at 7:00pm.

WHO: Ages 9-13.

Teen Acting Camp (14-17)
WHEN: August 4th - August 18th (Monday - Friday) 10:00am - 2:00pm (until August 18th)
Note: on August 18th we will meet at 4:00pm for final dress rehearsal and FINAL SHOWCASE at 7:00pm.
WHERE: All camps take place at The B Street Theatre located at 2711 B Street Sacramento, CA 95816
WHO: Ages 14-17.
TUITION: $400.00 (Due at time of registration)
