Summer Acting Camps for kids!

The B Street Theatre would like to announce its SUMMER ACTING PROGRAM 2009. Once again the B Street Theatre will offer a series of acting workshops for kids of all ages and skill levels. Students will learn in a fun, exciting, and creative environment from professional instructors who are active in the fields of theatre, improvisation, and acting instruction. Each camp will last up to two weeks and be lead by B Street regular Kurt Johnson. Young performers learn about the fundamental tools needed to work on and develop their physical, vocal, and emotional range. This being said we never lose sight of the fact that the work of acting is best taught through fun and play. Concepts are presented through a series acting exercises, theatre games, improvisation, rehearsal process, and performance. Every camp concludes with a final showcase production where the young actors can show off everything they have learned! Come and join the fun!!!

Kids Acting Camp (ages 9-13) Session 1: June 15th – June 29th, 2009
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (June 29th )
Junior Acting Camp (ages 6-8) Session 1: June 29th – July 6th, 2009
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (July 6th)
Kids Acting Camp (ages 9-13) Session 2: July 6th – July 20th, 2009
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (July 20th )
Junior Acting Camp (ages 6-8) Session 2: July 20th – July 27th, 2009
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (July 27th )
Teen Acting Camp (ages 14-17): July 27th – August 10th, 2009
Monday - Friday 10am-2pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (August 10th)
All camps take place at The B Street Theatre located at 2711 B Street Sacramento, CA.

Junior Camp $250.00
Kids Camp (2 weeks) $400.00
Teen Camp (2 weeks) $400.00
