MEET THE CAST

Elisabeth Nunziato - [Callie Quayle] Elisabeth is a B Street Company Member and appeared most recently in Juno and the Paycock. She also works in film, television and voice-over. Her film credits include Phenomenon with John Travolta and Robert Duval, Bicentennial Man, Frost and several independents. Television credits include the CBS pilot Henry Lee with Danny Glover, Masterpiece Theatre for PBS and several CBS Movies of the week. Nunziato’s voice-work ranges from documentary, political and corporate narration to announcing for NBC and WB affiliates.

Judy Jean Berns - [Mrs. Cauthen] Judy Jean Berns is very happy to be back performing at the B Street Theatre. She was last seen here as Gertie in Fuddy Meers, Mrs. Khan in Buck Busfield’s Beneath The Moon, Beyond the Stars, and as Peggy in Women Who Steal. In other venues, Ms. Berns has appeared as Vivian Bearing in Wit, Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady, Margrethe in Copenhagen, and Queen Eleanor in The Lion in Winter. She originated the role of Mrs. Cauthen in Wishing Well at the Victory Theatre in Burbank, CA and has played at TheatreWorks in Palo Alto (Moon Over Buffalo and Over the River and Through the Woods), San Jose Repertory Theatre (Later Life) and Foothill Theatre Company (Moon Over Buffalo) in Nevada City. A veteran of many television shows from Eight is Enough to The West Wing, Ms. Berns is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.

Stephen Lamar - [Richard Smalls] Stephen Lamar is a Sacramento native and is pleased to be back at B Street. His most recent performances include The Martin Luther King Jr. Theatre Project And The Dream Goes On! (Chuck Temper), A Raisin in the Sun (Bobo) and Wings of Freedom (Jay). Stephen was most recently seen as Jackie Robinson in Safe at Home: The Jackie Robinson Story and the general-in-chief in The Emperor’s New Clothes. He enjoys singing, writing music, playing basketball and spending time with his family.

Dana Brooke - [Cindy Cauthen] Dana Brooke is happy to return to the B Street stage after last appearing in Hate Mail. Other B Street shows include Lobby Hero, Lobster Alice, This is Our Youth and The Lonesome West. She works in regional theatre, off-broadway, in film and television, and currently resides in New York.

David Pierini - [Dennis Quayle] David has appeared in numerous productions including The Virgin Weeps, Resident Alien, This One Night, And To All a Good Night by Buck Busfield, The Underpants, Around the World in Eighty Days, Bright Ideas and The God of Hell. Most recently David played the role of the Emperor in The Emperor’s New Clothes for the Children’s Theatre of California. Previous Children’s Theatre performances included Beggar’s Strike, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. David’s adaptation of The Boxcar Children closed the Children’s Theatre of California’s inaugural season. He is a member of the B Street Theatre Acting Company.
